vacation

amazing and unbelievable - I just got back from a 1 week vacation and i feel amazing - seriously. Its just what the doctor ordered - didn't even go anywhere - just stayed at home with the family and puttered, day trips here and there and some quality time with The Couch.

vacation is good. I should try it more often.

Blossoms dance down to the ground
Spreading their beauty

The tranquil sea lies
Drifting in and out of tide appearances are not as they may seem
Underneath its wild

An insect is crushed
Under the foot of a boy pain for pleasure
All he does is laugh

Lined

Simple it should be
Lengthy and drawn not
Drawn
Full of promise and expectation
For anything
Lines around and inbetween
Scratched upon us too easily
Bruised and eager to heal
Its pain making me breathe and rush to find new skin
New skin to feel whole and packaged again
How long will it be to be new again?

Muffled strong and heard too loud

Wrought with unspoken innuendo

Digesting hungrily and greedy
It's course determined
Winding through channels of noise and distraction
Loud in it's path
